Homemade: brooklyn

We are now accepting vendors, event ideas, and work shop teachers for the new Homemade: brooklyn that is set to pop up on June 25 -27.

Homemade: brooklyn is a showcase for all locally made products and performers. It is a tightly curated collection of artists, designers, chefs, and enthusiasts from around the borough. I wanted to promote the diverse creativity that is happening in Brooklyn today and give a platform for new and established businesses.

The June event at Metropolitan Green in Williamsburg is quickly filling up with vendors and I am busy booking events for each day. These type of events will include both food vendors and performers from art to music expressing everything that the creative community has to offer.

Friday – Opening of the Event

Saturday – Day of “Happenings”
Interactions including Musical performances, Miniatures Rhino’s Lettering Writing Service, and Films from local directors and bands

Inclusion in Williamsburg Walks

Sunday – Workshops

This event has had two huge features in Time out New York, NBC’s blog The Thread, New York’s The Cut, Paper Magazines’ blog, Daily Candy, and many others. We have an extremely active facebook page, twitter account, and blog we are also launching a full website shortly.

Homemade:Brooklyn is excited to be planning our third showcase and pop-up shop opening June 25th at 439 Metropolitan Avenue. This time we are starting a fundraiser through KickStarter to offset the vendor fees for all the creative talent involved. There are so many fabulous artist out there who need a place to show their work and we would love to give them and the Homemade:Brooklyn show as much support as possible. We will be giving out special gifts and rewards to our backers as the fundraising goes on. With a goal of $1500 we hope to give more  artists and designers a place to share their work. Please check out our KickStarter page and we will keep you posted on rewards, gifts and ofcourse the June Homemade:Brooklyn line up! xxoo
